Training, careers and qualifications

The training area of the NCVYS web site provides information about careers, qualifications, training in the voluntary and community youth sector and support for training providers as follows:

• Careers and volunteering: information on volunteering or working with young people including what careers are available in the sector and how to qualify as a youth worker

• Training Directory: a listing of training courses provided by the voluntary and community youth sector (VCYS)

• NCVYS Training Provision: training provided by NCVYS in areas such as diversity, safeguarding and youth participation

• Supporting training providers: a range of resources to help VCYS training providers improve and develop their provision
