NCVYS is the national network for the voluntary and community youth sector in England. NCVYS has a considerable history in the development of support services with and for its networks.

NCVYS's role as an infrastructure organisation

Through our Membership Team development officers, NCVYS:

• supports and facilitates the development of vibrant, modern and representative regional and local networks that support and enhance quality direct work with young people;

• encourages and enables local networks and organisations working with young people to form new, positive relationships locally and regionally that enhance the capacity of the sector to engage in government initiatives; and

• actively seeks to enhance the skills and competencies of volunteers and paid staff who support work with young people in the community.
